RBC+ - A special applicaiotion of RBC+ has been timed to the ceremony of Pravo.ru legal ranking and dedicated to the legal community.
Lawyers of the leading Russian law firms shared their views on actual issues and, in particular, on the use of criminal law as a tool for resolution of civil disputes.

Roman Belanov, project manager at Khrenov & Partners expressed his opinion on this important matter.

On December 6 the Ritz Carlton Moscow hosted a ceremony of legal ranking Pravo-300.
The rating is a large-scale study of the Russian legal market, which aims to identify the best law firms in various practice areas.
Khrenov and Partners once again took the leading positions in the ranking.

Vedomosti - 46% of Russians are obliged to work in the same company as their close relatives according to the results of a survey of 8,600 people conducted in October by HeadHunter Company. This is most commonly experienced by top-managers (60%) and workers (60%). According to the survey, 30% of Russians do not see anything wrong in working for the same company as their relatives. However, the majority – 50% of participants in the survey, stated that they try to avoid being in such a situation.

Pravo.ru - The Moscow Court of Arbitration refused to uphold a claim of six foreign insurance companies to recover US$4 million from Russian company - Capital Insurance, previously held in reserve as compensation to relatives of passengers on the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 that crashed in Indonesia on 9 May 2012.

Kommersant FM - The case involving Vyacheslav Geizer is approaching the finish line. According to legal experts, the investigation is heading to the courts. On Otober 6, the former head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Torlopov was placed under house arrest. He is accused of fraud and forming a crime ring which he has confessed to. According to the Investigative Committee he acted together with another former head of the republic - Vyacheslav Geizer. Damages in the case are estimated at 2.5 billion rubles.
